B” Maternity Wearables is a brand I created for the 2015 Geoffrey Beene National Scholarship Competition.
The concept and design was awarded one of four top $30,000 prizes in the national competition.
“B” Maternity Wearables’ professional clothing use innovative fabrics and new technologies coupled with discreet design features allowing pregnant women the ability to monitor their own vital signs and health throughout each trimester of pregnancy.
The clothing utilizes a conductive silver fiber technology that allows pregnant women to monitor their heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, and stress level throughout their pregnancy. “B’s” clothing also incorporates three unique design features: “reveal and conceal”, “grow with you”, and “mix and match” providing women with the style they desire before during and after their pregnancy.
Because “B” Maternity Wearable’s enhance both a pregnant woman’s health and style “B” is at the forefront of both the maternity wear revitalization and wearable tech revolution.
